Colonel Stout's book focuses on the th Bomb Group, a frequent partner of the 38th, and many of his stories include operations in which my Dad participated. I have my memories of Dad's recounting missions of his and, among his effects after he passed away, a collection of photos taken from his aircraft which mirror the ones in this book/5(63).
